Track back books of wisdom

Albert Einstein famously remarked for this quote:-
"Problems which we face today can't be solved with same thinking which we used once we created them"
We can relate this quote to anything,I would like to relate this one to my college academics at VIT.
This 4 years of engineering, which we are going to undergo, was already exploited by many people for decades.Years passed by now,we were being taught with the same all dancing, singing crap but in revised manner. Many would have applied their thoughts from the knowledge gained from this 4 years, how can we expect the upcoming graduates to show some difference.Let me rephrase in different way take an example of any machine,if we give certain input it gives some output means different inputs gives different outputs. This world is expecting us to give different output with same input for many years.
How can we redesign this methodology?
Jay shetty explains that"we actually need to research on alternative teaching.we need to deep down dig in ancient books of wisdom.we need to go back to understanding if there's anything written in those creased pages of time that can actually reveal more knowledge and more wisdom of how we can transform our experience of life today. Otherwise every step forward we take, we're taking three backwards everytime."
College won't help us out regarding this we need to find our selves a new way to recreate us.I always wanted to  refresh myself with new thoughts.Hustle throughout ur life and stay happy.

What actually defines you?

Few questions that I always ask myself  Is it the social intelligence that defines you? Is it the good looks that defines you? Is it the physical health that defines you? We have many ways to quantify intelligence, looks and physical health. Intelligence can be quantified with the help of so called I.Q (Intelligent Quotient), Looks can be quantified based on the Age/tone of your skin/your smile etc. Likewise, Health can also be quantified based on diet you follow / Exercise to keep yourself fit each day. All the parameters mentioned above not exactly define you. They are tools to assess you at that particular instant. Human minds are not static, they swing in different directions. Life is an integration of situations/instances that you face over time. Decision making is always difficult because the future of the curve is decided by decisions that you make. It is very hard to sustain your momentum going but when you choose different track you have to make sure that you f...

The Oscillations of life

Why human always tend to be perfect? In this society,we have framed an agenda on how society should look an individual. Frame-worked in such a way that others should only have positive opinion on us. Agree with the fact that we should be doing that to have healthy relationships in the society. When one undergoes the toughest phase of his life, why is the society ignoring them? I feel that when society ignores him he may undergo different emotions, this could be the main reason for creating aversion towards the society. Just talk to them, make them feel secure , create an environment in a such a way that divert his mind against aversion. Please never ignore them, because they make a beautiful life. What life means to me? Life is a combination of mixed feelings,thoughts.......... "Life is like a piano.White keys are happy moments and black keys are sad moments. But remember both are played together to give sweet music." This is one of my favourite quotes. I have the habit ...

The dying soul

It startles me to see an article that draws an analogy between the cobra effect and academia - Interesting parallels. The emphasis on - how metrics like impact factor, h-index, grants, and tenure tracks have overshadowed the purpose of doing science is the central point of discussion. Towards the end, the article leaves you with a question of where collectively restructuring is required to enable real progress. But, how to do that? In other words, how to resurrect the dying "soul" of academia and get over "pretentious" science? Here are my thoughts: I think the answer lies in where it all started. Ask oneself the following question- What enabled the concept of doing a Ph.D.? Back in the day, the excitement to understand takes the front seat, which has been instrumental in the pursuit to discover things, and the by-product of this process is a Ph.D. What's happening now? Vice versa? Relatively speaking, we have reached a stage where every lab is equipped with en...
